PRODUCT AND OPERATING BOUNDARIES

About Read19

Read19 is a cloud KataGo analysis and cross-platform Go review product for players, teachers, and developers. It keeps the game record, position, candidates, and playable variations in one inspectable workflow so a user can begin reviewing without installing a local engine.

What Read19 is for

A user can import an SGF, open a public game, play against cloud KataGo, or connect KaTrain and a custom tool to the analysis API. Read19 presents win rate, score lead, candidate moves, ownership, and variations that can be played forward on the same board. It also provides public live games, style profiles, and discussions tied to concrete game records. The product serves occasional reviewers as well as teachers, researchers, and automation that need a stable remote engine.

KataGo evaluates a position under a particular model, ruleset, and search budget. Its win rate, score lead, candidates, and style labels are training evidence, not tournament adjudication or a guaranteed-correct answer. Read19 is not offered as a gambling signal or as medical, legal, or financial advice.

How the service operates

Cloudflare provides the public site, account gateway, databases, object storage, and edge delivery; configured GPU providers execute KataGo searches. Web, Windows, Android, macOS, and iOS clients share the account and analysis contract, while local games, the cloud library, public share links, and private Apple iCloud sync have separate data boundaries described in the privacy policy.

Read19 publishes browser review, REST, KataGo WebSocket, and official CLI interfaces. An analysis key is a fixed least-privilege credential that can submit analysis and read usage but cannot access account, payment, community, or operations data. Read19 does not currently advertise an MCP or A2A service; automation should use the published OpenAPI, WebSocket, or CLI contract.

Transparency and support

The public status page reports recent real outcomes for the gateway and primary analysis backends. Pricing separates the free monthly allowance, the automatically renewing Read19 Plus subscription, and permanent analysis units; the payment channel shows the final currency, tax, and total before purchase. Privacy, terms, and refund pages document data processing, acceptable use, cancellation, and digital-content refund boundaries.

Read19 provides email support at support@read19.com. There is no public telephone support or walk-in office, and support will not ask for a password, complete API token, card number, security code, or Apple purchase receipt. For security, account access, or payment delivery, send only the minimum information needed to locate the issue.
